Here is what some of our customers have to say....

Happy Customer

I have eaten at the family table several times and find it exceptional. the food has always been great as well as the service. The Chef owner always comes out from the kitchen and makes sure that everything is ok. This shows me that he cares very much about what he cooks and what his customers think. I travel to this area about once or twice a month and always make it a point to stop. I have brought several clients there and they all have been very pleased.

Great Family Restaurant

Our family of 2 kids and 2 parents stopped by for dinner on the way back from a two hour car trip and had a great dinner. My 10 year old raved about the clam chowder (and he is a chowder aficionado). The rest of us also loved our dinners which ranged from a homemade macaroni and cheese for one of the kids to a lamb burger with feta and roasted red peppers. It was the perfect blend of standard kid and adult fare prepared perfectly to some unique, delicious dishes to satisfy a more discriminating palette.

What a good time...

This restaurant is a great addition to the Jeffersonville/Smugglers notch community. The food is awesome and the use of high quality/fresh ingredients definitely shows. The pricing was more than fair and the portions were generous to say the least. I look forward to enjoying this place time and time again. Thank you Family Table staff for a great experience. I would highly recommend this place to visitors and locals alike

What a great local spot! A++

What a spectacular Saturday in Jeffersonville. We went over to the Cambridge Arts Festival and enjoyed local artists and lots of handmade items. We headed over to the Family Table for yet another FANTASTIC meal. We enjoyed a wonderful grilled salmon, chicken marsala, and a blackened chicken over penne with a basil cream sauce. Two of us started with the homemade clam chowder which was incredible. One of us had the blackened shrimp with the mango salsa - yummy! We keep coming back.

A CULINARY WINNER !!

I have sampled both lunch and dinner on several occasions with friends and family. The menus are diverse and feature something for everyone. Even my picky eating friends had to admit this restaurant was a culinary nirvana. The Family Table is definitely a new local treasure that should be checked out.

The chef/owner is always present preparing the menu offerings as well as imaginative specials using fresh local ingredients. His preparation and presentation shows off his formal culinary training. We have always been impressed with his seafood specials. His signature Fried Chicken and Maple Brined double cut Pork Chop are to die for -- Should not be missed.

The remodeling of this restaurant (formerly Jana's Cupboard) has brought in a new look and feel to an already comfortable atmosphere. The restaurant if fully Handicapped accessible and it is obvious that cleanliness of the kitchen, dining area and rest rooms is a top priority.

We would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking a varied menu of delicious food with good service at reasonable prices.

Very Nice Surprise

My wife and I were pleasantly surprised with the Family Table. The name implies a "family style" fare - however, it was much more impressive. My wife had the Rib Eye Steak which she found to be very good and large enough to take home (leftovers). I had the Shrimp Scampi and it was excellent. The service was fast and efficient. Our waiter was knowledgeable and friendly. The Family Table is a great addition to the area's fine restaurants.

Unbelievable!

Unbelievable! We stopped in for the first time around noon. We really wanted breakfast but found out they don't really do that BUT they asked what we would want and made it anyway. Amazing omelets and superb bread for toast. Definitely worth a trip back to try their "regular" menu!

Delicious Meal at Family Table

We just had the most delicious meal at The Family Table in Jeffersonville, Vt. Our appetizer was a blackened shrimp with mango dipping sauce and I had a baby spinach salad with goat cheese, pine nuts, and raspberry dressing. Both were excellent. For our entrees, my husband had rib eye steak with great mashed potatoes and vegetables. My ravioli was stuffed with squash in a fantastic brown sugar sauce with pine nuts followed by a chocolate madness cake which was amazing. The menu offered a wide selection of appetizers and salads, and many interesting entrees. I am so happy that Jeffersonville has added this wonderful restaurant and we will return many times!

Awesome, once again!!!

Thank you John, another great meal! Four of us had wonderful apps & entrees! Great food & service! Two of us had the rib-eye with the house steak sauce, one person had the blackened salmon, and the last had the raviolis. We also tried the Mahi cakes and they were so filling and tasty. Great value and wonderful flavors. It was one person's first time and she LOVED the potatoes shaped liked mushrooms - nice touch. I would HIGHLY recommend this restaurant to anyone. From burgers to fish, the menu is awesome!

Great food!

We ate at The Family Table for the first time last night. The food was fantastic. All local, freshly prepared and so flavorful. I had the veal and my wife the squash ravioli. Everything was fantastic. As we had our kids with us (ages 3 and 7), we also sampled the kids menu. Just what you want to see...burger, hot dog, mac & cheese, etc. The accompanying hand cut fries looked pretty good! One recommendation would be for plastic kids cups. We'll be back soon.

Worth Going Back to Vermont for!

We dine at wonderful restaurants in New York and had a comparable meal for half the price! The chef/owner John treated us like lifelong friends and so did the wait staff on the two nights we dined there. Clams in tomato broth were perfectly cooked and flavorful. Blackened Shrimp with Mango Dip were succulent and so were Mahi Mahi tips. Main courses, Smoked Duck papparadele, Southern Fried Chicken, Maple Glazed Pork Chops, Marinated Steak and their unusual potatoes were all great. Save room for desserts. Maple Crème Brule' and Blueberry Cheesecake are to die for!. Dining at Family Table was one of the highlights of our trip.
